One hundred and ten years have passed since the progressive movement, including the National Progressive Council. At the beginning, the First World War was organized. Then, under the leadership of Comrade Lenin, we saw the first socialist society. Socialists played an important role in World War II. They were a kind of policy makers. After World War II, the Cold War began between the then Soviet Union and the USA. As a result of the Cold War, the Soviet Union collapsed after 70 long years. Which was a very natural and unexpected event. Which had no special significance. This incident once again reveals the weakness of the capitalists and is an expression of their narrow-mindedness. The danger does not abate, but rather the world becomes more dangerous. The danger did not end in Bangladesh either. Despite repeated attacks by dictatorships and fascists, there was no one to protest. Although the National Progressive Council stood with most of the students, workers and the masses. Even then, there was no benefit in the larger good. The communists have not yet been able to take advantage of this mass uprising.

The Second World War was the result of the conflict between colonial imperialist countries and non-colonial capitalist countries. The 110-year-old NPC played an important role in World War II. The prominent Lithuanian activist and writer Juozas Tumas-Vaižgantas, who regarded progress as the main aspect of future politics. This political party, founded in 1916, came to Bangladesh and took on a communist form and allied with progressives. After all these years, the progressive form of the party has improved further, which is a qualitative change. From a quantitative to a qualitative change, the party is now a communist group. That is, it no longer has the traditional developed form.

Based on the two-nation theory, two independent states, India and Pakistan, were formed in 1947. Then came the Bangladesh Liberation War, where the Razakars killed the freedom fighters. However, later the Awami League could not resolve the conflict between the Razakars and the freedom fighters. The NPC first declared independence in the 1971 Liberation War. The NPC played an important role in the liberation war of Bangladesh. We should learn from the mass uprising of 1969.

The contribution of the NPC to the movement against Ershad's dictatorship should not be forgotten. The anti-fascist movement has been strengthened since 2008. The NPC also joined the movement in a strong manner. It was ultimately successful. Moreover, our party fought with its life during the First World War and the Indian War of Independence. So, accelerate the struggle of the National Progressive Council for these 110 years.

The pioneering struggle of the NPC can be divided into two main parts: from World War I to World War II and from the Indian independence movement to the fascist liberation movement of Bangladesh. We had direct participation in both world wars. Moreover, the reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1971 was a significant event in the Bangladesh Liberation War. The mass uprising of 1969 provided inspiration. The anti-dictatorship movement has increased our strength and courage. The anti-fascist movement that began in 2008 has not taught us to accept defeat. The NPC is a frontline ally in the resistance against the Awami League. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's one-party authoritarian rule has always been criticized.

The idea is to build mass resistance against Awami terrorists.
